History: (What If...Jessica Jones Had Joined the Avengers? (fb)) - As the superhero Jewel, Jessica Jones was hypnotized by the Purple Man into attacking the Avengers. After the vicious return attack of the Avengers, Jessica was hospitalized and comatose. Jean Grey helped her regain her mind and when she awoke, she was surrounded by the Avengers, Nick Fury, and Jean. Nick Fury offered her a position in S.H.I.E.L.D. as the group's liaison to the Avengers. Slightly dazed, Jessica accepted Fury's offer.
(What If...Jessica Jones Had Joined the Avengers? (fb)) - Soon after, Jessica arrived at Avengers Mansion to officially join the Avengers as S. H. I. E. L. D.'s liaison.
(What If...Jessica Jones Had Joined the Avengers?) - During a mission against the Squadron Supreme, Jessica saved Captain America as a romance began to blossom between the two. Not long after the Squadron Supreme mission, Jessica was wandering the Avengers Mansion looking for the others when she came across the Scarlet Witch's room. Noticing that the Scarlet Witch was acting strangely and thinking that she heard voices in the room, Jessica informed Captain America of her suspicions about the Witch. The team soon confronted the Scarlet Witch, who admitted that she felt her sanity slipping. Captain America then explained to Jessica what was happening and the two shared a kiss. It was not long after that Jessica and Captain America were married.

The divergent point of this Earth was during the events seen in a flashback
in Alias#26 (November, 2003).
One thing of note: While Hawkeye appears on the cover of the book, he is
nowhere to be found inside.

Captain America was the same as his Earth-616 up until Jessica Jones joined the Avengers. As the two shared many missions together with the Avengers, Cap began to fall for Jessica and after Jessica helped in preventing the Scarlet Witch from losing her grip on reality, he married Jessica.

After Jessica Jones was hypnotized into battling the Avengers, Nick Fury offered her a job with S.H.I.E.L.D. as their liaison to the Avengers. Jessica accepted and soon joined the Avengers as a member. She aided the team on numerous missions, including one against the Squadron Supreme, where she began to notice her feelings towards Captain America. After Jessica noticed that the Scarlet Witch was acting strangely, she informed Captain America, who eventually confronted the Witch and discovered that she was losing her grip on reality. Captain America then kissed Jessica and the two were soon wed.
