History: (What If? II#87 (fb) - BTS) - The day after Cyclops and Jean Grey had gotten married, the X-Men tested their Shi'ar technology against a potential attack from one of Magneto's electromagnetic bursts. The test caused the power systems to go offline, allowing the captive Sabretooth to escape.
(What If? II#87) - In the Morlock Tunnels, Jubilee found Bishop slashed to ribbons by Sabretooth and almost immediately afterwards, she was contacted by the Beast. Upon hearing the state of Bishop, the Beast ordered her back to the Xavier Mansion. Making her way back to the Medlab, Jubilee found an unconscious Iceman cradled over the comatose White Queen. Before she could determine what was wrong with the two of them, Jubilee heard the Beast scream and ran to aid him. She soon found the Beast struggling for his life against a savage, rampaging Sabretooth, who had made his way back into the Mansion. The Beast managed to kick him into a group of computer terminals, causing them to fall and temporarily imprison Sabretooth. Jubilee quickly asked Beast how he was doing. He replied that he had seen better days, but had managed to get the Powercore back online. He also warned that if the security systems were not rebooted then putting the power back would be meaningless and Sabretooth would escape again. Before he could finish his sentence, Sabretooth jumped at him. The Beast did his best to hold Sabretooth off while ordering Jubilee to reboot the security systems. Once the systems had rebooted and began to restart, the Beast yelled at Jubilee to run as Sabretooth killed him from behind.
Sabretooth managed to grab Jubilee's jacket but she fired her pyrokinetic sparks in his face and kept running. As she was running, she realized that Sabretooth was now trapped in the Mansion due to the rebooted security systems and that she was also trapped inside. When she hid in the Danger Room, Sabretooth managed to make his way there, where she activated a training program involving a Hellfire Club ambush. The simulated Hellfire guards fired bullets into Sabretooth, but he still managed to grab Jubilee's leg. At that point, Jubilee activated an anti-gravity program causing Sabretooth to float into the air. As the chase between the two continued, Jubilee led Sabretooth outside of the Danger Room, confusing Sabretooth into thinking that the outside was actually still in the Danger Room program. He pounced at her and plunged his claws into what he thought was a hologram, when in fact, it was the electrical systems of the Danger Room. She then generated a hologram of herself inside the Danger Room and the charred, electrocuted Sabretooth shambled his way towards the holographic Jubilee, thinking it to be the real her. When he reached for the hologram, Jubilee revealed herself at the Danger Room controls and activated a program that sliced Sabretooth to pieces using lasers.

When Sabretooth escaped the X-Mansion during a power outage, the Beast sent Jubilee and Bishop into the Morlock tunnels to search for him. When Jubilee reported that Sabretooth had killed Bishop, the Beast ordered her back to the X-Mansion. By the time she made it back, Sabretooth had beat her there and was trying to kill Beast. The Beast managed to kick Sabretooth into a group of computer terminals and reactivate the Powercore of the Mansion. He then ordered Jubilee to reboot the security systems as he fended off Sabretooth. After Jubilee trapped Sabretooth in the Mansion with the security systems, the Beast yelled at her to run as Sabretooth killed him from behind.
