Powers/Abilities: She possessed vast magical abilities and was very arrogant. She was seen using mystic bolts and shields.

(Marvel Fanfare I#6/2 (fb) - BTS) - She was born a sorceress and studied at the feet of wizards and seers before she could walk.

(Marvel Fanfare I#6/2) - Elata challenged Ian McNee to a mystic combat to become the Sorceress Supreme. She attacked him as soon as she knew that he was the Sorcerer Supreme, but his shield was too strong for her attacks. She put up a mystical shield when Ian fought back, but it didn't hold and Elata was seemingly destroyed by Ian.

Was she real or not? Only Dr. Strange knows!

Elata's origin stayed a mystery as well as nearly everything else about her. She was still more interesting than Ian McNee.

What was Elata? A few guesses!

• An illusion created by Dr. Strange! The tricky Sorcerer Supreme fooled us again!
• An Atlantean sorceress! Elata is blue and the pointy ears could be hidden beneath her headdress. I even mistook her for Elanna at first because of the name.
• A native to the Dark Dimension! She could've been raised by the Mhuruuks of the Dark Dimension. (my personal favorite)
• Kree, Pheragot or whatever other blue skinned races are around, but I don't like the extraterrestrial theme to be stuck onto her dress.
• Something totally different!
• What was she? She was cold!
