History: (Namor I#52 (fb) - BTS) - Phoebe Marrs of Oracle, Incorporated hired the Free Divers to Stonington Island in the Antarctic to find the sunken Endurance before Leon Mackenzie, who'd embezzled funds for Oracle, could do so. They set up camp and Commander O'Neill sent down an R.O.V. When they lost contact with it, a group of divers was sent in after it.
(Namor I#52) - Namor and Andromeda joined O'Neill at Stonington just as the divers returned with the equipment, which had been damaged by something humanoid. Namor demanded the divers return, but Lt. Hitch countermanded the order, despite arguments from Namor and Andromeda. Hitch and the other divers found the sunken ship and reported their findings to O'Neill. Warned of the dangers of Antarctic Vibranium by Namor, the divers moved to return to the surface, but Black Moray cut off their electrical systems, meaning to give the divers to Sea Leopard as payment for the Vibranium. Soon Namor rescued the Divers using a bioluminescent squid as a beacon. They returned to the surface, thanking Namor.
(Namor I#53 - BTS) - Namor battled Sea Leopard and Black Moray alongside Andromeda and Attuma, and the Endurance was destroyed, though Namor salvaged the Vibranium.

Clarifications:
(Namor I#52) - Lt. Hitch and the Free Divers were
hired by Oracle, Incorporated to salvage the Endurance in the
Antarctic. Hitch ordered her divers down despite warnings from
Namor and Andromeda. When evidence of Antarctic Vibranium was
discovered, Hitch ordered the divers to evacuate, but they were delayed
by Black Moray until Namor led them out with a bioluminescent
squid.
(Namor I#53 - BTS) - Namor later saw the mission
completed.

(Namor I#52) - Acting as point man for the Divers'
mission to salvage the Endurance in the Antarctic, O'Neill met Namor
and Andromeda there and listened to their recriminations about the
mission. O'Neill stood by when Namor rescued the Divers later.

completed.
