Powers/Abilities: Galactus presumably had a computerized intellect capable of processing and storing data. It also presumably had the ability to expel cosmic energy.

History:  (Marvel Universe Millennial Visions 2001 - "Galactus: Dawn of the Heralds" (fb) - BTS) - Galactus died, leaving the menace known as the Unnameable to take over where he left off. With Galactus dead, the Unnameable began devouring planets at an alarming speed. When Earth was destroyed along with its heroes, the Silver Surfer decided that something had to be done about the Unnameable. Using the Shi'Ar for help, the Silver Surfer recreated his former master using Galactus's remains and leftover circuits of the robot formerly known as Ultron. Together with Ultron-Galactus, the Silver Surfer raced into battle against the Unnameable, expelling nearly all of his energies and causing himself to age and take on a red hue. Realizing that he could not face the Unnameable alone, the newly-named Red Surfer asked for help from his enemies, Thanos and Annihilus, who agreed to aid him against the Unnameable.

 (Marvel Universe Millennial Visions 2001 - "Galactus: Dawn of the Heralds") - The group, calling themselves the Heralds, waited for the Unnameable to float towards its next target, knowing that if they failed to stop it, the universe itself may cease to be.

ANNIHILUS

Annihilus was the same as his Earth-616 counterpart up until Earth was destroyed by the Unnameable. Afterwards, the Red Surfer came to him for help and he agreed to aid him in destroying the Unnameable.

RED SURFER

The Silver Surfer was the same as his Earth-616 counterpart until Galactus died, leaving the Unnameable to devour the universe. Attempting to stop the Unnameable, the Surfer created a robot from the remains of Galactus and Ultron to aid him. In the robot's first outing, the Silver Surfer expelled nearly all of his energies battling the Unnameable, causing him to age and take on a red hue. Renaming himself the Red Surfer, the Surfer then went to Annihilus and Thanos for help, forming the Heralds.

THANOS

Thanos was the same as his Earth-616 counterpart up until the Red Surfer came to him for help in stopping the Unnameable. Thanos agreed and joined the Surfer, the Galactus robot, and Annihilus as the Heralds.
