History:
(Mighty World of Marvel II#7/3 (fb) - BTS) - In late summer of 1983, with anti-drug New York Congressman Abraham Lincoln Brown a major candidate for President in the upcoming election, Yi Yang dispatched the Ghost Tiger to Shanghai, AL. His mission was to use a distraction by the white supremacist group Swords of the New Dawn to assassinate Brown.

(Mighty World of Marvel II#7/3) - The Ghost Tiger arrived in Shanghai and stayed at the home of the Ho family, who apparently had some ancestral connection to the Dragon Tong.

(Mighty World of Marvel II#7/3) - The Ghost Tiger concealed himself in a locker-room ventilation shaft in the stadium at which Brown was scheduled to appear. He remained there for eighteen hours, until the Swords of the New Dawn started a riot, then slipped out and trailed Brown and his security force as they made their way to a waiting limo.

(Mighty World of Marvel II#8/3) - Martin Rheinhardt, the Grand Wizard of the Swords, tried to shoot Brown from a water tower, but was shot to death himself by the security men. Just after Brown appeared to be safe inside the limousine, Ghost Tiger hurled a grenade into the armored vehicle, killing Brown and all of his bodyguards.
Night Raven, who had been summoned to Shanghai by way of a hexagram televised at one of the Swords of the New Dawn rallies, saw Ghost Tiger but was powerless to stop him from killing Brown. Night Raven pursued the assassin through the stadium and out into the wooded hills outside of town. The chase lasted until dawn, with Night Raven briefly deterred by a pack of hunting dogs sent by the town sheriff. Night Raven finally caught up with Ghost Tiger just after dawn. The two fought, but despite Ghost Tiger's exceptional skills, he could not overwhelm the preternaturally tough vigilante. When he realized he could not win, he attempted to execute the deadly Double Clawed Tiger Strike, planning to kill both himself and his opponent, but his hands shattered against Night Raven's hide, and Night Raven seized and crushed the life out of him.

Afterwards, Night Raven kicked Ghost Tiger's body out of spite, causing his injured leg to give out. His head fell on Ghost Tiger's chest and he lay on the body until his wounds had healed.

Ghost Tiger received a real name in Night Raven's profile in OHotMU HC#8.

Comments: Created by Jamie Delano and Alan Davis.

The narration obliquely refers to other Ghost Tigers, implying perhaps that it is a job description as much as a name, or that there is a single Ghost Tiger at any given time, but he is replaced if necessary.

I'd be pretty surprised if a little Alabama town had a Chinatown, but that's where the Ho family's laundromat is.
