Powers/Abilities: Gomdulla is an incredibly large being, though his true form was never revealed. He had some form of telekinesis, and could levitate himself as well as other objects. He also had a small stud on his right foot, which could either render him immobile in a death-like state, or reawaken him.
History: (Journey into Mystery I#61/1 (fb) - BTS) - <ancient Egypt> - Gomdulla arrived on Earth, causing havoc in the Egypt region. At some point, he accidentally hit the hidden stud on his foot, rendering himself immobile. He was buried in a tomb afterwards.
(Journey into Mystery I#61/1 (fb)) - Gomdulla was uncovered by archaeologists and placed in a museum. There, two children were playing around, and one accidentally hit the stud on Gomdulla's foot, reawakening him. He proceeded to disappear into an area of Egypt, where he forced a group of men to form the Worshippers of Gomdulla (also called the Cult of Gomdulla). These men were ordered to bring the giant "mummy" riches, even if they had to steal them. An Interpol agent named Paul was assigned to the case, and while investigating, located the cult. He witnessed the men praying to Gomdulla, and tried to arrest them. Gomdulla attacked him, using his powers to throw stones from the wall at the officer. When one fell on Paul's leg, Gomdulla closed in to kill him, but the High Priest of the cult threw himself on Gomdulla's foot, striking the stud and returning the alien to its slumbering form.
(Spider-Man Family II#3) - Gomdulla was somehow later awakened and went on a rampage in Manhattan. The Fantastic Four came to stop him, and were soon joined by Spider-Man. Gomdulla was knocked unconscious by the Thing. Afterward, J. Jonah Jameson attempted to implicate Spider-Man as being Gomdulla's ally, despite the lack of any such evidence.
(Journey into Mystery I#648 (fb) - BTS) - Gomdulla was banished to the Isle of Exile by Asgardians.
(Journey into Mystery I#648) - Gomdulla escaped the Isle of Exile and appeared in Cairo, Egypt, scaring countless tourists and locals.
(Venomized#4) - Kei sent Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur to safety, then summoned Goom, Gomdulla, and Gorgilla to help in the fight against the Poisons' Hive.
Comments: Created by Stan Lee (or Larry Lieber), Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers.
