Powers/Abilities: Grizzly used a laser pistol in combat, and had a hypno-beam which he used to control Mart Baker.

History: (Captain America I#120) - Grizzly was assigned by AIM to capture atomic scientist Paul Fosgrave from Manning University, and he was aided by agent R-2. Posing as students, they allied themselves with Mart Baker, a persuasive and outspoken student, and used their hypno-beam to help transform his protests into a series of increasingly hostile events, so that when it was time to capture Fosgrave, they would have some cover.

Baker finally demanded that his committee be placed in control of the university, and the student body was divided against each other, breaking into a massive fight. When Captain America appeared on the scene, MODOK decided to move the timetable forward, and told Grizzly and R-2 to capture Fosgrave immediately. As they brought Fosgrave to the roof of the building where their portable copter was to be assembled, Captain America pursued them, aided by Baker, who had realized he had been duped. Grizzly tried to escape on the copter with Fosgrave, but Captain America shot the copter down with Grizzly's gun. Fosgrave was brought to safety, but Grizzly's fate after the copter crashed is unrevealed.
