The Avengers agreed to help and utilized Tony Stark's Groundhawk vehicle to travel underground, where they found Captain America and the Black Widow. Once the two heroes were inside, the Groundhawk continued its trek to the kingdom of Subterranea. When they neared its location, the ground beneath the Groundhawk caved in, but the Groundhawk was able to make a safe landing due to the hover jets located on the bottom of it. Following the defeat of Brutus and the Gor-Tokian Grotesk, the Avengers traveled back to the surface world in the Groundhawk.
