History: (Venus#17/2) - After cartoonist Jimmy Rogers' imagination began to cause his creations to spring to life, he was almost driven mad by them. When his friend Venus stopped by to check up on him, she found him almost dead as the Weirdies ran amok in his home. She implored Jimmy to create a super hero to counter the monsters, and Jimmy created Hero, who leapt off his comic book page and destroyed the creatures. Once done, Hero asked Jimmy what he wanted him to do now, and Jimmy drew Hero diving back into his inkwell. When the drawing was completed, the "real" Hero disappeared into Jimmy's real inkwell.
