Powers/Abilities: The Ice-Monster is covered in fur, but other than that, it displayed no powers beyond being able to pick up a human and easily climb the side of a mountain with the person in tow.

History: (Amazing Adult Fantasy#11/4) - Legends of the Ice-Monster abounded in a small Germanic village. Criminal Hugo Bogg, seeking to reclaim a fortune he had stashed away in the town before exile, decided to use these legends to aid his search. Donning a costume patterned after the creature, he terrorized the town looking for his jewels. He was surprised to come face to face with the real Ice-Monster, though. The creature, delighted to finally find another like him, abducted Hugo and took him to parts unknown.

Hugo Bogg

    Bogg was a local jewel thief who was banished from the town by the local authorities. When the police chief died, Bogg returned, but needed to find a way to search for his hidden jewels. He donned a monstrous costume to strike fear into the villagers so he could go about his search uninterrupted. He confronted the real Ice-Monster, which abducted him, thinking Hugo was another like it.
