Powers/Abilities: Ms. Fortune probably possesses some degree of enhanced strength, and wears body armor.  She wields a staff, and is likely proficient in its use.

History: (Amazing Spider-Man II#26 - BTS) - The early history of the woman known as Ms. Fortune is unrevealed.  At some point she began dating Donny Callahan, and eventually convinced him to allow themselves to be mutated into superhumans, becoming Ms. Fortune and the Squid.

(Peter Parker: Spider-Man II#16) - In their first outing as supercriminals, Ms. Fortune and the Squid attacked Spider-Man on a rooftop.  Ms. Fortune didn't even manage to hit Spider-Man before he grabbed her staff and tossed her, along with the Squid, off the roof. 

(Amazing Spider-Man II#26 - BTS) - After their defeat by Spider-Man, the criminals who empowered them turned on the Squid and Ms. Fortune, and she was nearly killed.  Following that, she broke up with Donny.

The Squid's profile in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day Yearbook confirms that Ms. Fortune is a mutate, but it doesn't confirm whether she's wearing a costume, or if she's actually bald and orange.  Given that the Squid is in fact a goopy cephalopod-man, I'm gonna guess the latter.  Of course, due to the coloring, that would seem to imply she she isn't wearing a top in her battle with Spider-Man - but then, the Squid's dad does refer to her as a skank.

    My friend Marcus recently informed me of the ghastly mating habits of giant squid...maybe getting pasted by Spider-Man isn't the only reason Ms. Fortune dumped Donny's butt.
