Powers/Abilities: Red Wolf was a strong Apache brave skilled at hand-to-hand combat. He carried a rifle and rode a horse.

History: (Rawhide Kid I#27/2) - Red Wolf was a member of an Apache raiding party who attacked a covered wagon and kidnapped a blonde woman, bringing her back to their camp. When the Rawhide Kid came to their camp demanding her release, Red Wolf stepped up and offered a challenge: if the Rawhide Kid could beat him in hand-to-hand combat, he could have the woman. The Kid agreed. The two men wrestled, but Red Wolf had no idea whom he was facing until the Kid mentioned his name. Red Wolf was surprised, because the Rawhide Kid was only a legend among his people, and the Rawhide Kid beat him.

As the Kid left with the woman, he rode quickly, correctly guessing that Red Wolf wouldn't let them go that easily. Sure enough, Red Wolf pursued them with some other Apaches. Noticing a herd of bison, the Rawhide Kid fired his gun to make them stampede towards the Apaches. The bison barred the Apaches' path, and Red Wolf was forced to concede defeat.

    I would guess that this guy was named after the legendary Cheyenne warrior, but isn't connected to their line at all.
