Powers/Abilities: Remora has no known powers, though he can breathe and operate underwater like other Atlanteans. If he has any powers due to living in the Sargasso Sea is unrevealed.
History:
(Namor I#46 (fb)) - Remora was one of the People of the Mist in the
Sargasso Sea (see comments). Tiger Shark and Tamara Rahn moved
into the Sargasso Sea, and Tiger Shark agreed to protect the People of
the Mist.
(Namor I#46) - When Remora saw the Inhuman Triton battling aliens near the Sargasso, he rushed to tell Tiger Shark of it. Tiger Shark grabbed Remora violently for the interruption until he heard of the news, then Tamara threatened Remora's life if Remora was lying. Remora agreed to take them there, hoping he would get to feast on the remains of any corpses from the battle. At the site, Tiger Shark and Tamara allied with Trieste and Zun and boarded her ship. Soon Trieste and her soldiers (the Banari) moved to battle Namor.
(Namor I#47) - Remora watched Namor battle between Namor and the Banari from the safety of a coral reef with disdain, worried that there wouldn't be anything left to feast on if they blew each other up. After the battle ended, Tiger Shark gave Remora the ripped-off appendage of Xlyym to eat, and Remora shared it with Zun. Remora and Zun followed Tiger Shark, Tamara, and Namor back to Aquaria (Namor's base), and decided to remain there to finish their feast while Tiger Shark went off on a mission.
(Namor I#54) - While scavenging around his grandfather's old haunt, Remora saw Llyra and Llyron (who looked like a green-skinned Namor) moving towards Atlantis and discussing their plans for the city. Remora rushed off to tell Arliss, and interrupted his dinner with Tamara. After explaining the situation, Arliss agreed to investigate.
(Namor I#55) - Remora held back while Tiger Shark and Tamara approached the city, then watched as they started battling Llyron and Llyra. He swam to Aquaria quickly for help, wondering who would feed him if Tiger Shark and Tamara died. At Aquaria he convinced Andromeda, Stingray, and Sub-Mariner that he needed help, and Namor followed him back to Atlantis. Namor rescued Remora's allies and returned them to Aquarius. Remora was not seen again after this.

A remora is a sucker-fish, or bottom-feeder, that eats the stuff other fish don't want from ocean floors. Remora was attributed to the People of the Mist, in the Sargasso Sea. What, if any connection, he has to the Mist-Men of Sargasso (a group of surface-men granted long lives by the Mists of Sargasso) is unknown. The People of the Mist were never seen, and it is unknown how Tiger Shark came into contact with them, or agreed to be their protector.
