First Appearance: Firearm#10 (July, 1994)

Powers/Abilities: Sandra K had the pyrotechnic ability to generate flame from any part of her body, although she favored a fingernail to light cigarettes with. It does not appear that she had any other control over flame. Otherwise, Sandra K displayed no extraordinary talents, with all abilities probably at normal levels.

    She appeared to be in her late 20s and surly. She had short black hair combed back, gray eyes, plus black lips and nails, likely to have been painted on. Sandra K was also a heavy smoker of menthol cigarettes, probably linked to her arsonist tendencies.

History:  (Firearm#16 (fb) BTS) - Undertaking a huge sweep of the U.S.A., over 300 ultras were pinpointed for Mosely and marked for death, including Sandra K. Hired by Mosely, Rafferty began formulating plans to kill these ultras, starting with the lesser ones first to hone his ultra-killing skills.

(Firearm#10) - As she strolled through Connecticut, she lit up another cigarette intending to burn down an old building from 1832, while she talked about the plans to herself.

(Firearm#12 (fb) BTS) - Rafferty secretly planted a poisoned cigarette that had been laced with a powerful toxin amongst Sandra K's cigarettes, with the expectation that she would smoke it.

(Firearm#12) - Several days later, while she admired her latest handiwork, a burning courthouse in St. Paul, she watched firemen struggle against the out-of-control flames. Sandra K decided to light up a menthol cigarette to savor the moment, but selected Rafferty's poison cigarette. The fast-acting toxin caused Sandra K to lose control of her bodily functions, including her pyrotechnic ability. Her body ignited, leaving only ashes, so much so that it would be weeks later that dental fragments would reveal her identity.

    She was probably drifting from city to city, until Rafferty found her.

    Firearm#12 was the Prologue to the 6-part "Rafferty Saga" in Firearm, which spilled over into several other Ultraverse titles. This issue was really Rafferty's, with the murder of each minor ultra character shown in one large page. None of the victims died in battle, but each was stalked and killed, usually with something to do with their individual ultra power.
