Powers/Abilities: Short Circuit has the ability to nullify the superhuman abilities of other mutants within his vicinity. His power only takes effect whiel he is conscious. Short Circuit suffers from some form of mental handicap.
History: (X-Force I#79 (fb) - BTS) - Short Circuit was a patient at the Weisman Institute until the mutant Locus broke him out to use him against her enemies X-Force alongside Reignfire. Short Circuit considered Locus and Reignfire his friends, and was willing to help them do anything because they let him watch cartoons.
(X-Force I#79) - Short Circuit shut down the powers of Skids and X-Force while Reignfire confronted Sunspot, but X-Force member Warpath was still on the loose, and he knocked a slab of stone onto Locus and Short Circuit to return the others' powers. As the fight between Reignfire and X-Force intensified, the room they were in caught on fire. Warpath carried the still-unconscious Short Circuit to safety with them.
(X-Force I#80) - Short Circuit watched Reignfire's battle with X-Force in Las Vegas, captivated by the violence. Moonstar suggested using him to help defeat Reignfire, but Warpath refused, believing Short Circuit had already been taken advantage of too often.
