Powers/Abilities: Dr. Steinem was a brilliant scientist who designed a jet plane craft for the Germans during World War II.

History: (Combat Kelly and the Deadly Dozen#1) - When the Deadly Dozen raided the Luftwaffe complex where Dr. Steinem's jet was so that they could destroy it, Dr. Steinem was found by Ace Hamilton. Steinem surrendered to him, and offered his services to the Americans to build them jets, but Hamilton wasn't interested and shot Steinem for fun. He then claimed that he had shot Steinem in self-defense.
