History:  (X-Men Millennial Visions 2001 - "Storm: Goddess of Thunder" (fb) - BTS) - Storm left the peace of her African tribe to join Charles Xavier and his X-Men.

 (X-Men Millennial Visions 2001 - "Storm: Goddess of Thunder" (fb) - BTS) - The battles for man and mutantkind took its toll on Storm, leaving her spiritual life unbalanced. Deciding to isolate herself from her mutant friends, Storm sought peace by destroying raging storms, often drawn to the most dangerous storm she could find.

 (X-Men Millennial Visions 2001 - "Storm: Goddess of Thunder" (fb) - BTS) - Her attraction to dangerous storms brought her to meet the Norse God of Thunder, Thor. Storm's attraction to Thor was noticed by Tarene, a former love of Thor, who was manipulated by the magic of Loki into attacking Storm. In order to save Storm's life, Thor was forced to fight Tarene. The outcome of the battle cost Tarene her life, leaving her hammer behind.

 (X-Men Millennial Visions 2001 - "Storm: Goddess of Thunder") - Storm touched Tarene's fallen hammer and was transformed into a new Goddess of Thunder by Tarene's noble spirit, boosting her pre-existing weather manipulation abilities.
