History: (Fantastic Four I#141 (fb) - BTS) - Hans Stutgart obeyed Doctor Doom's plan to attract the Thing in Latveria. Stutgart made contact by mail with Alicia Masters, promising and convincing her that he could perform a new type of surgical operation to her eyes and give her back the eyesight.
(Fantastic Four I#141) - Alicia Masters flew in a nation of the Balkans, confining with Latveria. Stutgart welcomed the girl, and hinted to the danger of walking in those zones on late evenings, so preparing the future entering for Darkoth. They left for the clinic.
(Fantastic Four I#142/Fantastic Four I#143 (fb)) - As scheduled by Dr. Doom, after few days the Thing followed Alicia and arrived in the same Balkan nation. Hans Stutgart and Alicia received him at the airport.
That evening, Stutgart and Alicia were in the clinic when Darkoth assaulted the Thing. Stutgart helped Alicia to reach the Thing after the fight was over.
The day after, Stutgart and some other "doctors" led Alicia in one of the operating-theatres of the clinic, leaving the Thing waiting out for her. They hid Alicia, while the Thing was again attacked by Darkoth and later attracted in Latveria passing by an underground passage, and captured.
