Powers/Abilities: Thor possessed the same attributes typical of an Asgardian, such as superhuman strength, resistance, durability, and longevity. Using his enchanted hammer, Thor could manipulate the weather and fly by hurling the hammer and grasping to its strap.

History:  (Marvel Universe Millennial Visions 2001 - "Thor: Odin Quest" (fb) - BTS) - Thor somehow perished and passed into the realm of Hel, led by the Asgardian goddess Hela. Upon entering Hel, Thor screamed for Odin, whom he thought to also be deceased and residing in Hel. In response to Thor, Hela sent out a war cry that rallied her army of the dead against Thor.

 (Marvel Universe Millennial Visions 2001 - "Thor: Odin Quest") - Thor continued to rampage through Hel, searching for Odin. Little did he realize that Odin was nowhere in neither Hel, nor Valhalla, and that only Loki knew of Odin's actual whereabouts.

HELA

Hela was the Asgardian goddess who ruled over the realm of the dead known as Hel. When Thor perished and entered her realm searching for Odin, Hela sent an army of the dead against Thor.
