Powers/Abilities: Torthar's abilities are undefined, though he was presumably trained as a warrior.
    He wore a Centurion costume which allowed him to survive, fly, and navigate through space and to fly through air, as well.

History:
(Nova II#15 (fb) - BTS) - At some point Torthar joined the Star-Corps, serving under Queen Adora. He was on an unidentified planet (home to an ancient, yet flourishing civilization) alongside at least one other Corpsmen when the planet was assaulted by the Luphomoid Kraa, who sought to wipe all evidence of Xandar from the cosmos.

(Nova II#15) - Within mere moments, the civilization was reduced to ashes. Torthar was injured, and he told the other Corpsmen that it was too late for him and that the other Corpsman should save himself and return to Xandar. The other Corpsman refused to leave his fallen comrade, at which point Kraa himself assaulted them. One of the Corpsmen was left dead, and the other had only time to call Kraa a murderer before a second blast from Kraa reunited the pair.
    The assault was witnessed by Queen Adora, who had Nova (Rich Rider) summoned to oppose Kraa.

    I'm not sure what alien race Torthar and/or the other Corpsman pictured is supposed to be from. They're both humanoid and could be Xandarian or any other number of humanoid races.

    Torthar is the one on the right in the above picture.
