History: (Strange Tales I#155/1 (fb) - BTS) - At some point, HYDRA's Annihil-Agent 47 assumed the identity of Dr. Anton Trojak, a scientist affiliated with S.H.I.E.L.D., and used this identity to infiltrate the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, using HYDRA's Epiderm-Mask Machine to create a mask that made him look like Trojak.
(Strange Tales I#155/1) - "Trojak" oversaw the transporting of the Q-Ray aboard the Helicarrier as he promised to deliver a demonstration to Nick Fury. Later, he was contacted by the Supreme Hydra (Baron Strucker, who was impersonating S.H.I.E.L.D. agent John Bronson) and told to prepare a trap for Fury when he came to use A.U.T.O.F.A.C., the computer S.H.I.E.L.D. was using to determine the Supreme Hydra's true identity. "Trojak" set a booby-trap so that when Fury stepped on the grid in front of A.U.T.O.F.A.C., he was jolted with electricity.
"Trojak" quickly set to work installing his Aphonic Bomb to destroy A.U.T.O.F.A.C., and tied Fury to it so that he would share its fate. He then departed to activate the Q-Ray, and attempted to tear the Helicarrier apart with it, but Fury managed to free himself and attacked "Trojak." Fury set the Q-Ray to overload as "Trojak" continued to pummel him. Seeing the damage that the Q-Ray was doing, "Trojak" triumphantly declared HYDRA's victory as he bested Fury in combat. But just as he cried "Hail HYDRA!" the Q-Ray exploded, killing him.

The Q-Ray was designed to break down the molecular structure of any object, scattering the atoms of its targets. "Trojak" attempted to slaughter everyone aboard the Helicarrier with the Q-Ray, but Nick Fury overloaded the machine, destroying it. "Trojak" was killed in the explosion.

The Aphonic Bomb was designed by "Trojak" to destroy S.H.I.E.L.D.'s A.U.T.O.F.A.C. computer. It was a "silencer" bomb using vibrations that caused no sound when it exploded. "Trojak" attempted to slay Fury by tying him to the bomb, but he escaped before it went off.
