History:

(Daredevil II#101 (fb) - BTS) - Assistant D.A. Algren was assigned to represent the city when blind Milla Donovan seemingly murdered a man in the subway.

(Daredevil II#101 (fb)) - Algren went to eh holding facility to Donovan’s room and asked to speak to lawyers Matt Murdock (Donovan’s husband) and Franklin Nelson in the hall. He explained that he had enough evidence to not release her on bail, but agreed to have her have a psychiatric evaluation first. He listened to their theory that she’d been driven mad by a drug from one of Daredevil’s villains. Milla nearly passed her psychiatric evaluation the next day, but went mad with the questions and tried to attack the evaluator. The judge ordered that she be kept under constant watch in Bellevue psychiatric facility for the criminally insane, but Milla barely understood she was so sedated. Matt’s words against the judge caused him to be arrested for a night for contempt.

(Daredevil II#102 (fb) - BTS) - Cranston used fear gas on Algren to have him release Milla to Murdock.

(Daredevil II#103) - Algren met with Lily Lucca to discuss the change of her story about Milla Donovan. He was upset to see Nelson with her, but Nelson explained he was only there as a friend. Algren, unknowingly overcome by Lily’s pheromone powers, complimented Lily. She explained her new story and he struggled to put all the facts together.

(Daredevil II#104) - When Algren learned that Milla had attacked Elsa, he traveled to Murdock's residence. Fearing for his job, he argued with Nelson and Murdock before leaving.

(Daredevil II#106) - Algren stood with Nelson and Murdock as Mr. Fear (Larry Cranston was interviewed by Detective Kurtz, confessing to being behind Gladiator and Milla Donovan's madness.
