History:
(Daredevil II#41 (fb) - BTS) - Owl hired Mr. Anad, one of the Kingpin's former legal advisors, and tried making a name for himself by selling Mutant Growth Hormone as a new drug.
(Daredevil II#41) - Owl grew frustrated and furious when one of his dealers came back and reported that Daredevil had approached him, roughed him up, and told him to give the Owl the message "Gotcha last". Owl listened to Anad's advice that going after Daredevil would be a mistake and that they would need to approach things from a new level, but he still took his frustration out by slashing off the face of the dealer and killing him. Anad was disgusted.
(Daredevil II#42) - Anad tried making Owl laugh with a story of taking advantage of another man's handicap, but Owl was not amused. They soon received word that Daredevil was coming to confront them, and Anad made sure that Owl understood that Anad should handle Daredevil. Anad tried calming Daredevil and claiming legal rights, but was shocked when Daredevil destroyed the hidden camera they had and Anad's DAT recorder before rushing off.
(Daredevil II#44) - When he read of Murdock being a suspect in the Rosenthal murder, Anad questioned Owl about his actions. Owl calmly explained that he believed Daredevil was out of their hair forever now.
(Daredevil II#45) - Sykes had to scrape more from Owl, infuriating him, and Sykes claimed that they'd lost another supply due to a battle with Iron Man. Owl questioned Sykes just as they FBI, led by Agent Harold Driver, rushed in in a raid. Anad tried stepping up, but Driver silenced him. Driver questioned the Owl, explaining that another dealer, Riley Jenkins, had been killed and that Owl was the primary suspect. Driver sarcastically told Anad that Kingpin had been much smarter about his business, then recognized Sykes. They told the men that Sammy Silke, who'd been under their protection, had been murdered, shocking Anad and Sykes. Owl then leapt up and attacked the agents. Driver was knocked down, firing his gun. Owl tried running for it but Daredevil defeated the Owl with a series of punches as the FBI watched. Driver let Daredevil go, wishing he'd warned him about the Kingpin's return.
