History:
(Conan the Barbarian I#213 - BTS) - Arisnaub was worshipped by the Ghamud people. He had inspired in them respect and admiration for death to the point that the Ghamud felt honored to die, because then they could meet their dark god.
(Conan the Barbarian I#213) - Arisnaub lurked in a wonderful garden protected by an outpost in the middle of the Turanian desert in a form that was not his own: a turtle. One day, one of Arisnaub's priests tested Conan, a Cimmerian who had slain many Ghamud. Conan had to find Arisnaub and kill him, but Conan failed, killing all the threats he met, not recognizing Arisnaub, and saved the life of a baby. Arisnaub and his priest, however, agreed on the fact that Conan was almost worthy of the Ghamud order.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Arisnaub has no known connections to
The Priest of the Death God was an authority in the order and spoke directly to Arisnaub. The Priest had his brothers in faith lure Conan into the garden of Arisnaub and entrapped him there. He proposed to fulfill Conan's greatest desire if he slew Arisnaub, but he said that the god was in a guise that Conan would be reclutant to kill. After overcoming many threats, Conan found a crying baby, but did not kill him. He managed to escape from the garden and the Priest let him go because he considered Conan as almost worthy of the Ghamud order.
