History:
(Bullseye: Greatest Hits#1 (fb) - BTS) - A special agent of the National Security Administration Anti-Terrorism Unit, and a dual agent and section chief for the CIA, Hostage Negotiations division, Marcus Baldry was assigned with Scott Hoskins, of the Super-Crimes Division, to question Bullseye about a nuclear device he'd stolen. Baldry spent the week learning about Bullseye's crimes, visiting a fire-bombed prison where many had been killed.
(Bullseye: Greatest Hits#1) - Hoskins and Baldry arrived at the special prison, which was under the guise of Bortz and Son Ironworks. Baldry briefed Hoskins on what they knew about the mission as they endured retina scans and tissue samples to get inside. They were then required to strip completely down, and Baldry felt inadequate next to Hoskins, who put Baldry in his place but agreed to follow his expertise in the questioning. Baldry was uneasy about having to leave his glasses behind.
(Bullseye: Greatest Hits#2) - The agents then learned that the nuclear device had been found, but that the plutonium core was missing, when Horace pulled them out of questioning. Baldry insisted that they maintain their patient questioning, though Hoskins lost his cool and destroyed an expensive piece of equipment in frustration. They returned and Baldry continued the questioning, hearing his claims of being in foster care, becoming a professional ball player, and murdering a man on the field. Bullseye then said he was recruited by the CIA and sent to Nicaragua.
(Bullseye: Greatest Hits#3) - The agents learned that one of the plutonium cores had been found on a train bound for Nicaragua and they moved to continue questioning Bullseye. Hoskins promised to get the information by whatever method possible if Baldry's methods proved ineffective. Bullseye told them about getting involved in drug-running in Nicarague before making it back to New York, seeking to make a name for himself as an NSA agent.
(Bullseye: Greatest Hits#4) - Baldry managed to break through to Bullseye by calling him an assassin, and Bullseye mentioned the two missing plutonium cores. He came to his senses again when Hoskins punched the glass. Both agents quickly left and Baldry grew furious with Hoskins. Alone with Bullseye, Baldry heard Bullseye claim that the Kingpin was put in place by the NSA and that they incarcerated agents Bullseye'd been after in prisons like this one, then took it all back. The warden authorized Hoskins to question Bullseye one on one.
(Bullseye: Greatest Hits#5) - With Baldry and Horace standing by, Hoskins entered and shoved a furious Bullseye to the ground. Hoskins provoked Bullseye by touching his knee when Bullseye demanded not to be touched, then punched him repeatedly, demanding the location of the plutonium. Bullseye claimed it was in a nearby campground and then denied it. Hoskins knocked one of Bullseye's teeth loose and Bullseye spit the tooth into Hoskins' skull, killing him. Baldry ran for it, forced to watch as Bullseye killed Horace. Bullseye taunted Baldry with more lies, revealing half-truths about his father being an NSA agent. He let Baldry run for it, but Baldry was killed by the hardening foam in the prison.
