History: (Power Man and Iron Fist I#68 (fb) - BTS) - Cam Connors and his sister, Reva, were childhood friends of the man who would become Luke Cage, Power Man. Connors and Cage ran in a gang together, and Reva and Cage fell in love. Reva was eventually killed and Cage sent to prison, where he received super powers and became a superhero for hire. Cam started a trucking business and read about Cage in the papers.(Power Man and Iron Fist I#68) - Driving his truck in New York, Cam ran into Cage in the streets and the two reconciled. Cage asked Cam to pick something up for him in Bethphage and gave him the address to the criminal Bushmaster's mansion, not knowing Cage was planning to rescue a kidnapped woman. Before he departed, he noticed Gorilla-Man attacking Cage and drove his truck between them, giving Cage a chance to escape. Gorilla-Man pursued Connors' truck to Bethphage and hired Connors to ensure that Cage would be attacked by Gorilla-Man when the time came. Connors waited in his truck until Cage and his allies, including Misty Knight, came out after a deadly battle with Bushmaster's men. Connors hit Knight in the head, knocking her out, to ensure Gorilla-Man attacked Cage, but Connors was hit by stray fire from one of Bushmaster's men in return. After the battle was over, Cage chose not to press charges against Cam, but stated that he never wanted to see his old friend again.
