History:

(Daredevil II#84 (fb) - BTS) - A former bagman for the Kingpin, Drivin’ Ivan Murphy kept in business by accepting contracts from various criminals. He was hired to do a few jobs. He hired Hammerhead, an inmate in Ryker’s Island, to attack Matt Murdock there. He also, playing to be a drunk vagrant, approached Dakota North in a bar and gave her pictures of the new Daredevil who’d been seen around town.

(Daredevil II#84) - Murphy met with Dakota and her friend Ben Urich, still playing up the drunk role. For a hundred bucks, he gave them the name of Alton Lennox, a lawyer he claimed that knew Daredevil.
