History: (What If? I#34/9) - Despite having an eyepatch on his right eye, Nick Fury was angered that many of his Life Model Decoys were made with eyepatchs on the left eye.

This reality diverged when Nick Fury injured his right eye instead of his left, like on Earth-616. 616's Nick Fury first appeared with an eyepatch in Strange Tales I#135, with the origin of his eye injury in Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos#27.
