This reality diverged when its world's Marvel Comics began publishing overly intellectual comic books featuring their world's Spider-Man
The Mad Thinker and Spider-Man were only seen in a story that was intended to be one of this reality's comic books but since they existed in this reality in order to be co-opted into comic book form, I went ahead and made subprofiles for them.
Profile by Proto-Man.

--What If? I#34/26 (seen only in a simulated comic book story
from this reality)
Spider-Man's life was co-opted into a story published by this reality's Marvel Comics. In the story, he battled the Mad Thinker using his overly intellectual banter and logic.
He presumably had the same superhuman strength, agility, and spider-sense that his Earth-616 counterpart.
