History: (Marvel Team-Up I#116) - The E-Street Jukes tried robbing pedestrians Jeff and Lynne with knives, but they were scattered by the Valkyrie. They closed in on the heroine, calling her a "dumb chick", but chose to run for it when Valkyrie tore out a lamp post to toss at them.

Comments: Created by JM DeMatteis, Herb Trimpe, and Mike Esposito.

Their name is a clear reference to The E-Street Band, the long-time backing band of Bruce Springsteen, and the Asbury Jukes, the backing band of Southside Johnny, another Jersey Shore musician and longtime friend of Springsteen.
