History:

(Daredevil: Father#5 (fb) - BTS) - Growing up in Hell's Kitchen, New York City, Sean Farrell's father was a butcher. When enforcer Jack Murdock roughed Mr. Farrell up, it cost him an eye and broke his spirit. Sean eventually married Maggie, a girl from the neighborhood that he loved intensely.

(Daredevil: Father#1 (fb) - BTS) - Wanting to get Maggie out of Hell's Kitchen, Sean got a job with the sanitation department. They moved to the suburbs and bought a home.

(Daredevil: Father#5 (fb) - BTS) - When Maggie called Sean a failure, he started taking night classes to learn computers, but she suspected he was having an affair.

(Daredevil: Father#1 (fb) - BTS) - Maggie developed cancer due to negligence on the part of New Jersey Power and Light, as they'd dumped chemicals in the river illegally. She started chemotherapy sessions. Maggie and Sean tried petitioning and protesting the plant for months, but they were ignored. After hiring an inspector, they decided to sue. Maggie soon found out that the cancer was Ovarian and that they wouldn't be able to have kids.

(Daredevil: Father#5 (fb) - BTS) - Sean agreed to let Maggie hire an attorney, but was angered when he learned she wanted to hire Matt Murdock, son of Jack Murdock. He soon started assuming they were having an affair. Maggie showed Sean a scrapbook she'd been keeping on Murdock over the years, even when he was suspected of being the hero Daredevil.

(Daredevil: Father#1 (fb) - BTS) - Sean arrived at the law offices, frustrated that Maggie had given him the wrong directions. She introduced him to Matt Murdock and Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, and Sean was sure to express how much he hated Hell's Kitchen and how quickly they wanted to take action. Sean grew impatient during the following interview and Matt and Foggy agreed to take the case.

(Daredevil: Father#2) - Maggie angrily questioned Sean about where he'd been, not believing his story about taking long walks and wondering if he had a girl on the side. He left in a hurry.

(Daredevil: Father#3) - Maggie was screaming at Sean for suggesting they needed help. When Murdock called, Maggie agreed to meet Murdock at his office the next day, but Sean stormed out.

(Daredevil: Father#5) - When Murdock called the house, Sean yanked the phone out of Maggie's hand, yelled at Murdock, and hung up.

(Daredevil: Father#5 (fb)) - Maggie stabbed Sean through the stomach and rushed out to find Murdock.

(Daredevil: Father#5) - Thinking Sean was the Johnny Sockets killer, Murdock had Tito drive him to the Farrell home. He found Sean sitting inside with a bloody knife in his hand. Sean furiously yelled at Murdock for his failures, then fell over dead.
