History:
(Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z Hardcover#4: Fin Fang Foom) - The Beyond Corporation created a clone of Fin Fang Foom.
(Nextwave#1) - A machine being used by the Beyond Corporation dug up Fin Fang Foom slumbering beneath the ground in Abcess, North Dakota. Foom awoke and began rampaging through the city.
(Nextwave#2) - The Nextwave team assaulted Foom, hoping to stop his rampage. While the Captain managed to break one of Foom's fingers with his strength, there was little the rest could do. Monica Rambeau ordered Machine Man to let Foom swallow him, and once inside, began slicing apart the creature's organs. Foom vomited up several of them and fell to the ground, defeated.

Created by Warren Ellis, Stuart Immonen & Wade Von Grawbadger.
The Nextwave story: At first, Nextwave was stated as being non-continuity, but now it looks like it is, but skirting the edges. So how do we align what we saw here concerning Foom with what we've seen elsewhere? Well, there's a number of theories: First, he could have given up his chef job and returned to his old ways. Second, it may not even be Foom. Dirk Anger, the leader of H.A.T.E. (and Nextwave's arch-nemesis) and S.I.L.E.N.T. (the terrorist company fronting the Beyond Corporation and which had bought out H.A.T.E.) were using genetic abominations to further their end. The FFF seen in Nextwave could be one of them, an inferior clone of FFF (hence the odd speech pattern). - Thanks go to Sean McQuaid for this theory, which was incorporated in Foom's profile in OHotMU A-Z Hardcover#4. - Madison
