Powers/Abilities: Alfonso Galvez possessed to superhuman powers and abilities. He was a trained soldier and skilled tactician having reached the rank of Colonel before using magic to increase his standing and rank within the government of Costaguay. He was a balding fat man who probably did not engage in any rigorous exercise.

History:

(Chamber of Chills#5/1 - BTS) – Alfoso Galvez served as a Colonel in Costaguay’s military and was second in command behind General Rojo. Thirsting for power and wealth he learns about an old man named Orizaba, a supposed sorcerer who possessed great magical ability.

(Chamber of Chills#5/1) – Seeking him out in the jungle, Galvez meets with Orizaba and his beautiful daughter at their ramshackle hut. Having an attraction to his daughter he begins flirting and fondling her face complimenting on her appearance. Getting to the point for his visit, he asks Orizaba to help him become Costaguay’s General with the use of his magic in exchange for wealth. Since he was but a poor old man and wanting what was best for his daughter, agrees.

  A rebel attack, spurred on by magic, takes place and during the battle a stray shell from the distance explodes and the ricocheting shell kills his commanding officer, General Rojo. Again with the aid of Orizaba’s magic the fighting ceases and he routs the rebel attack and is rewarded by the President, General Rojo’s former position. After becoming the country’s Chief of the Military Galvez once again thirsting for power asks Orizaba for help in now becoming the President of Costaguay. Galvez’s inquiry is met with resistance by the aged sorcerer as he had not yet been paid for his previous task. Galvez threatens to do harm to Theresa and although his father is hesitant he quickly agrees to once again use his sorcery.

(Chamber of Chills#5/1) – Galvez now the new president of Costaguay, is approached by Theresa and her now angry father who were requesting payment for their previous services that was promised. In response Galvez has Orizaba taken away and placed in a dungeon below the Presidential Palace. Galvez next forces Theresa into marrying him as she was the most beautiful woman on the island and he wanted her as a symbol of his power. Later on in the evening as the full moon began to rise, Galvez and Theresa were in their bedroom getting ready to consummate the marriage. Galvez tells Theresa that he was the luckiest man in the world for having wealth, power and the most beautiful woman in Costaguay. Without her father’s spells and incantations, Theresa suddenly changes into the horrible “Blood-Beast” and takes Galvez by the throat and savagely kills her evil husband.
