History:

(Daredevil I#10 (fb) - BTS) - Deborah "Debbie" Harris dated Franklin "Foggy" Nelson in junior high. When she became an adult, her father Bernard, was selected to be the Reform Party's candidate for borough president, running alongside men like Abner Jonas and Milton Monroe. She was contacted by Jenkins, who was posing as the criminal Organizer to assert control over local government. She agreed to help with his plot by getting close to Foggy, who was soon to be selected as candidate for district attorney.

(Daredevil I#11 (fb) - BTS) - Debbie agreed to help Jonas because she believed she loved him.

(Daredevil I#10) - At a yacht party celebrating Foggy's acceptance, Debbie approached him flirtatiously, glad he remembered her from junior high. She met his friends Matt Murdock and Karen Page, and was immediately annoyed with Karen. The ship was attacked when an arrangement from Jonas led to a seeming attack on his life, and the Reform Party candidates rushed in to check on Jonas. Jonas soon instructed Debbie to pretend to be kidnapped. At a party at her father's estate, she was grabbed by Cat-Man and Bird-Man, though Cat-Man was captured. Debbie screamed as she was taken, and she later listened as the Organizer sent Ape-Man to take care of Cat-Man. Debbie assured Jonas that Nelson would do anything for her.

(Daredevil I#11) - When Daredevil attacked, Ape-Man, Frog-Man, and Bird-Man left Harris tied up and fled. Daredevil soon entered and freed Debbie, who feigned fear. She then rushed home and called the Organizer, ensuring him she would focus on Nelson again. She rushed to his law offices and embraced him, telling him Daredevil had saved her, and they then saw Daredevil swing past. When the Reform Party looked as though it would still fail, Jonas demanded that Debbie help them assassinate the mayor. She turned away, believing him mad. He broke off the connection, leading Debbie to believe that her life was in danger. When Daredevil jumped down to question her, she agreed to help the hero take down the Organizer. She quickly called Frog-Man at Daredevil's instruction, and Daredevil was able to defeat Frog-Man in battle, then use his suit to infiltrate the Organizer's headquarters. When Daredevil exposed Jonas as the Organizer, Debbie's testimony helped convict him.

(Daredevil I#26 (fb) - BTS) - Debbie was incarcerated for her crimes.

(Daredevil I#36) - Debbie was released from prison and felt she'd fully reformed. She hesitantly contacted Foggy and asked him out, but he was reluctant, though he was stand-offish as he was now running for district attorney and didn't know if it would be good for him to date an ex-con.

(Daredevil I#39 (fb) - BTS) - Foggy agreed to go out with Debbie in secret and he began to fall for her, though he was hesitant to make it public.

(Daredevil I#39) - Foggy finally decided to date Debbie publicly and took her out on a double date with Matt Murdock and Karen Page. They went to a noisy nightclub and laughed as Karen and Matt danced. They were all horrified when the Unholy Three (Ape-Man, Bird-Man, Cat-Man) attacked, seeking revenge on Debbie. They hit her with a T-Ray, sending her out of sync with time and leading the others to believe she'd been disintegrated.

(Daredevil I#40) - Debbie went slightly mad as she was trapped in her out of sync time with others who'd been hit by the T-Ray. Soon they were joined by Daredevil himself, and Debbie explained to him what she knew about the place.

(Daredevil I#41) - Debbie found herself back on Earth, but still slightly out of sync with time. She wandered, trying to speak to people but unable to made contact. She watched the Unholy Three capture Foggy Nelson and she cried out, helpless. Later, she finally returned to normal near Karen Page.

(Daredevil I#42) - Debbie was at the law offices as Karen and Foggy talked to Matt about the recent death of his twin brother, Mike, who'd supposedly been Daredevil. They later went for a walk, when Foggy told her that if he was elected D.A., he had a special question to ask Debbie. They were soon attacked by the Jester, who punched Foggy, then took Matt hostage, demanding that Nelson drop out of the running. Before being driven away, Matt claimed that there was a new Daredevil who his brother had trained.

(Daredevil I#43 (fb) - BTS) - Debbie watched sadly and awkwardly as Karen Page chose to quit her job and leave, too pained that Matt would not return her affections as she wished. Debbie wondered why Matt let his blindness get in his way.

(Daredevil I#44 (fb) - BTS) - Debbie and Foggy got officially engaged. Debbie got involved in a public protest and was caught on tape.

(Daredevil I#44) - When Foggy found out about the protest, he was furious, but Debbie blew it off. Matt came in and refused to take a side in the argument. The Jester, on television, announced that he was planning on capturing Daredevil, who'd recently been accused of murdering actor Jonathan Powers. Debbie was glad Jester was going after him.

(Daredevil I#45 (fb) - BTS) - Karen Page contacted Debbie with her location, but asked Debbie not to tell anyone.

(Daredevil I#45) - Debbie let Foggy know that she knew where Karen was, but refused to tell him anymore, as per Karen's wishes.

(Daredevil I#46) - Matt entered Foggy's office in rags, claiming he'd been mugged, and Debbie rushed to aid him. She told him she'd heard from Karen, then rushed off to a Pray for Peace rally.

(Daredevil I#48) - As the election for district attorney got closer, Debbie grew excited to see Foggy leading the polls and to see Karen return. She was frustrated when Murdock claimed he needed the office one evening and that Foggy couldn't use it.

(Daredevil I#56) - Debbie and Foggy helped Matt realize that Karen had gone home to visit her dad, Paxton Page, who'd once been branded as a traitor. Matt rushed off to find her.

(Daredevil I#58) - Debbie attended a press conference in which Foggy announced Matt's acceptance as Foggy's special assistant. Debbie and Foggy then left on a date.

(Daredevil I#60 (fb)) - When Foggy's assistant Hollis suggested that Foggy's popularity would be better if he weren't engaged to an ex-con, Debbie tearfully pulled off her ring and rushed off, saying Hollis was right.

(Daredevil I#60 (fb) - BTS) - Debbie got an anonymous tip that Crime-Wave would be aboard the S.S. Lady Luck that night. She wondered if she could discover his identity.

(Daredevil I#60) - Debbie went to the S.S. Lady Luck to gamble and initially did very well, but soon started losing. She was soon down ten thousand dollars, and was pulled aside by security to settle accounts. Crime-Wave met her below and offered to have Debbie work for him, but she refused. She yanked off his mask in a fury and discovered Hollis beneath it. Daredevil then attacked and fought off Crime-Wave's men, narrowly saving Debbie more than once fro being hit. Foggy arrived to arrest Crime-Wave and hugged Debbie close for her bravery.

(Daredevil I#108) - Debbie stood by Foggy's bedside while he recovered from a gunshot wound. She was soon joined by his family, Edward, Anna, and Candace Nelson, as well as Matt, who Debbie enthusiastically greeted. When Foggy's condition took a turn for the worse, Debbie rushed to his side. He later recovered.

(Daredevil I#121 (fb) - BTS) - Foggy and Debbie started actively planning their wedding over the following months.

(Daredevil I#120) - Debbie greeted Matt, Black Widow, and Ivan Petrovich to her party, getting them all drinks. Debbie noted the discomfort between Black Widow and Foggy, who'd prosecuted the Black Widow before. Hydra attacked and gassed the room, but Daredevil and Black Widow fought them off, including their agent El Jaguar. Nick Fury and SHIELD soon arrived and told Foggy they wanted him to join SHIELD.

(Daredevil I#121) - Fury revealed that they wanted Foggy on their new board of directors.

(Daredevil I#122) - When Foggy was kidnapped by Hydra, Debbie was beside herself. Candace Nelson, Foggy's sister, comforted her. On the news, Barbi Kepke of WQXR reported the kidnapping and the involvement of SHIELD, Daredevil, Black Widow, and Ivan Petrovich. The heroes soon checked in with Candace and Debbie to make sure they were okay.

(Daredevil I#138 (fb) - BTS) - Debbie was kidnapped by Stone and kept for weeks.

(Daredevil I#141) - Debbie was struck by her captor, who was furious that Daredevil had saved Foggy from death. He showed her the mounted automatic machine guns that would kill her if Daredevil showed up there.

(Daredevil I#147) - Debbie cried helplessly as Mort tied her up in a different room, reminding her that he was only doing his job and asking if he ever told Debbie about the time his wife Thelma and he thought their son's plane had crashed in Russia. Daredevil burst in and managed to disarm the lasers and knock out Mort. Foggy and Heather Glenn rushed in to comfort Debbie, but she only wanted to see her father and was reluctant to be alone with anyone else, including Foggy.

(Daredevil I#148 - BTS) - Foggy Nelson kept calling to check on Debbie, but she refused to speak with him. Bernard grew annoyed at the persistent calls.

(Daredevil I#149) - Foggy called to check on Debbie, but her father intercepted the call, reporting she was still not seeing anyone and had hired a guard to protect herself.

(Daredevil I#150 (fb) - BTS) - Debbie cancelled her engagement to Foggy.

(Daredevil I#152) - Frustrated that Debbie still wouldn't speak to Foggy, Daredevil broke into her room and disarmed her security guard. Ignoring her cries, he took her through the city over his shoulder, finally landing in a park. He tried shaking her out of her fear for over an hour, but she refused to even speak. When Foggy showed up, Debbie rushed to embrace him. Daredevil rushed off on a mission, soon passing couple Steve and Barbie.

(Daredevil I#153 (fb) - BTS) - Debbie agreed to renew her engagement with Foggy.

(Daredevil I#157) - Debbie and Foggy went to dinner after closing, but Becky Blake decided to stay behind. Later, at the office, Foggy, Debbie, Heather, Becky, Matt, and Black Widow (Matt's old girlfriend) were attacked by the Ani-Men (Ape-Man, Bird-Man, and Cat-Man) attacked, looking for Matt. A fight broke out, leading to Foggy getting hurt.

(Daredevil I#158) - Though Cat-Man and Ape-Man managed to escape with Murdock, Black Widow captured Bird-Man. While Debbie and Heather helped Foggy, Becky called the police. Murdock later escaped and Foggy got medical care.

(Daredevil I#160) - Becky went with Debbie, Foggy, Matt, and Heather to visit the grave of Heather's father, Maxwell Glenn. Heather slapped Matt and rushed off in tears and the others left.

(Daredevil I#166) - Debbie and Foggy were finally married and the wedding was attended by Matt, Heather, Porkchop Peterson, and Foggy's family, Edward, Anna, and Candace Nelson. Foggy, in his green and purple plaid suit, nearly forgot the ring, but found it on his little finger at the last second.

(Daredevil I#173) - Though concerned about Foggy's recent absences from the office and her home, Debbie was unable to tell Matt where he'd been. She tearfully explained how her marriage had been so happy before he had mysteriously changed. Foggy soon came in and rudely ordered Matt to leave.

(Marvel Fanfare I#1/2) - When Santa impersonator Lewis didn't show up for his appearance at a children's hospice, Heather and Debbie pushed a reluctant Foggy into doing it while Matt stood by.

(Daredevil I#182) - Debbie answered a late night call from Judge Coffin, who informed Foggy of some bad news that he had to rush out and deal with.

(Daredevil I#197) - Debbie waited impatiently for Foggy to get off work and ordered him home when he remembered something unfinished. Late that night, he got a call that Matt had been injured.

(Daredevil I#198) - Trying to sleep, Debbie grew annoyed when Foggy kept wondering about Matt's trip to Japan.

(Daredevil I#201 - BTS) - Debbie bought Foggy and she tickets to the Mayor's charity ball.

(Daredevil I#204) - After being annoyed at a man begging for money, Debbie stood by Foggy's side with Horatio Piper as he interviewed with the media about his new clients, Micah Synn and the Kingorge tribe. They followed Synn and his wife Sra into the subway, where Daredevil saved Synn from assassination by Crossbow and saved Sra from being hit by a subway. Debbie was concerned to learn about Synn's god Mow and his laughter at his wife's illness. She later commented to Foggy and Becky at how fascinating she found Synn, wanting to invite him to her next party. She then called to report the party to the society editor. She later got ready for the party and gabbed to Foggy more about Micah and how she'd invited Tony Stark. After gabbing to Stark, Debbie showed Synn around. In private, he kissed her and she found herself kissing him back. Daredevil and Synn stopped Crossbow and Debbie called the police, surprised to find herself in tears.

(Daredevil I#205) - Debbie and Foggy received a visit from her niece Glorianna O'Breen from Ireland. Glorianna explained that her father, Fergus, had sent her to the USA as she might be in danger, and the Nelsons invited her to stay at Matt's empty apartment.

(Daredevil I#206) - Enamored of Foggy's new client Micah Synn, Debbie visited him privately and gave him a statue of his god Mow, hoping to please him. Synn grabbed her and kissed her and she found herself responding, though Kingpin soon interrupted and sent her away. Foggy, Debbie, and Becky Blake soon attended a party at Matt's with Glorianna. The party was interrupted when Micah Synn and his men burst in the room, striking the men, taunting Becky for being handicapped, and holding Debbie on the side, using undue force to hold her. Glorianna tried helping Becky, but they held a knife to her throat. While taunting Matt, they knocked him into the Christmas tree, which shorted out the lights. Daredevil soon arrived and stopped Synn and his men. Ignoring Foggy's wounds, Debbie rushed outside to console the injured Synn.

(Daredevil I#207) - The injured Synn lied about Daredevil's attack in the hospital, but Debbie stopped Foggy from telling the media the truth as Matt and Glorianna stood by.

(Daredevil I#209) - While out to dinner with Foggy and Matt, Debbie and Foggy argued about Micah, her social engagements, and Foggy's activity level before Debbie stormed out.

(Daredevil I#210) - Debbie was gossiping with Foggy, Beck, and Matt at the clinic about Synn when he entered with Piper and others. She rushed to greet him, suggesting that he get a restraining order against Daredevil for the hero's pestering, and Piper agreed.

(Daredevil I#211) - Debbie complained to Foggy that the reporter Marco in the Revealer had printed slander about Synn.

(Daredevil I#212) - At Synn's request, Debbie threatened to leave Foggy unless he claimed that Becky Blake, who was making the claim that Synn had kidnapped her, was lying. Debbie told Foggy she was going to her sister but she went to Synn instead, watching with him as Foggy reluctantly did as she asked on television. Debbie later visited Synn, bringing him chocolates and telling him of her plans to divorce Foggy and move in with him, but he violently knocked her to the ground.

(Daredevil I#213) - Synn forced Debbie to wear rags and work as a slave. She begged Horatio Piper to help free her, but she was restrained. Later, feeling isolated, she begged Synn to speak to her as she scrubbed the floor, but he rushed away. She then asked M'lee to listen, desperately needing conversation. She pathetically explained her realization that she should have been satisfied with her life with Foggy, but M'lee simply poured water over her head, laughing. Later, Piper helped her escape through the back door and she rushed back to Foggy, begging for forgiveness and telling him of her humiliation. As Debbie went to the police, Foggy went to confront Synn, finding Piper's body, and was nearly killed, but Daredevil saved him.

(Daredevil I#214) - Foggy and Debbie spoke out to the media about Synn, reporting Piper's death, and Foggy retracted his statement that Becky was a liar. Synn was later defeated by Daredevil.

(Daredevil I#215 - BTS) - Foggy and Debbie struggled to get along, so Foggy stayed at the office, drowning himself in work and trying to regain business after his public lie.

(Daredevil I#216 - BTS) - Debbie started staying in a hotel.

(Daredevil I#217 - BTS) - Debbie wanted to reunite with Foggy, but he needed time to think things over.

(Daredevil I#218 - BTS) - Debbie officially filed for legal separation.

(Daredevil I#222 (fb) - BTS) - Debbie started dating Carleton Corona.

(Daredevil I#222) - When Debbie heard that Glorianna's plane had gone down near Tinkerville, New Jersey, Debbie and Carleton went there for support. Debbie saw Foggy there, clean-shaven, and he agreed to be there for her, though she rushed to Carleton with a kiss. After introducing Carleton and Foggy, Debbie watched Foggy walk awkwardly away.

(Daredevil I#230 - BTS) - When Karen Page called for Foggy, Debbie gave her his new number.
