History:
(Ultraverse II Origins card #42) - Joey Thompson was ahigh school dropout but recruited by a Terrordyne subsidiary known as Ultra-Violence by the criminal underworld. He was implanted with wetare that enabled him to shoot out fiery napalm,
(Prototype#3) - A Terrordyne strike force attacked an airplane at St. Louis Airport but their hostage attempt was thwarted by Prototype. However, Thompson, the group leader now codenamed Heater, then struck from outside, burning a hole through the hull of the plane. Heater then fired more napalm at the armored hero, so Prototype flew through the hole and fired back at the villain in order to get Heater's attention away from the plane, which was still full of passengers. However, an armor malfunction caused Ruiz to fall onto the tarmac and Heater then attacked without mercy, blasting at the Prototype armor. Heater then taunted Ruiz, stating that both of them were in the employ of devious corporations, except that Terrordyne did not hide its evil intentions. Heater was about to deliver the killing stroke against Prototype, but the armored suit's auxiliary power finally kicked in and the villain was blasted backward. Acknowledging that Prototype had won the first round, Heater was able to distract Ruiz by showing fellow Aladdin employee Hastings falling out of a airborne aircraft. Prototype flew up and rescued Hastings but when the two landed, Prototype found that Heater had already escaped.
