History: (Avengers I#228 - BTS) - Judge
Shipman was tapped to preside over the trial of Hank Pym, who had been accused
of treason. During the trial, the prosecution told Judge Shipman that Pym's
time as an Avenger made his "crimes" all the more heinous.
(Avengers I#228) - The fourth day of Pym's trial was interrupted by
the arrival of the Masters of Evil, who claimed that they were there on Pym's
command and that they were rescuing him. As Judge Shipman and the jury took
cover, the Avengers rushed outside to stop the Masters, only to have them
escape and leave the Shocker behind.
(Avengers I#230 - BTS) - Days after Pym defeated the Masters of Evil
with the help of Hawkeye, Judge Shipman presided once again over the trial
as it came to a close. After hearing testimony from the captured members
of the Masters of Evil and evidence from the Avengers and Patricia Starr,
Judge Shipman dismissed all charges against Hank Pym. Following the trial,
Judge Shipman presided over a hearing concerning Hawkeye's role in the death
of Egghead. Shipman found him innocent of any wrong-doing.

These two pictures I included in the profile were the only actual appearances
of Judge Shipman. The other two pictures of him were seen in an artist's
rendering of the court scene and then on television in #230.
