Powers/Abilities: Karal was a typical Atlantean, able to breathe underwater, resist the ocean's pressures and see in the darkest depths.
History: (Marvel Comics#1/3) - Karal was standing at attention in the throneroom of Emperor Thakorr when Prince Namor arrived with the bodies what he thought were two robots. They proved to be two deceased humans, Rod Nelson and Ev Carley. Princess Fen instructed Karal to deal with the bodies by ossifying them (stripping to the bone) and placing the remains in the royal chamber to serve as an example to the people of Atlantis. Karal agreed to the orders.

This unidentified guard from Saga of the Sub-Mariner#2 is probably Karal.
When the events of Marvel Comics#1/3 were recounted in Saga of the Sub-Mariner#2, it was the priest Kormok who was given the task of dealing with Nelson and Carley's bodies.
