History:

(Daredevil II#16 (fb) – BTS) – At age four, Timmy climbed up on the counter and ate a whole bottle of Flintstone vitamins, scaring his mom. She had him rushed to the emergency room only to discover there was no danger.

(Daredevil II#17 (fb) – BTS) – School teacher Ms. Andreyko worked closely with Timmy Lange, knowing his father was a costumed criminal, Leap-Frog. When he showed up to school with bruises more than once, she had to report him to child protection, but he was never taken from the home. The other kids teased Timmy some, but liked his movies and comics.

(Daredevil II#19 (fb)) – Timmy went out on his roof to see his dad in his Leap-Frog costume fighting Daredevil. His dad threatened him, telling him to get back in the house. Timmy, scared, grabbed an exposed electrical wire and touched it to his dad. His dad fell from the roof and never returned. Timmy went into deep shock.

(Daredevil II#17 (fb) – BTS) – Detective Mantegna responded to a distress call and heard from Allison Lange that her husband Buford, the Leap-Frog, had gone missing. He figured Lange had just run for it and didn’t bother to investigate, glad that the costumed trash was gone. The staff psychologist for a hospital, Dr. Rodriguez was on vacation when Timmy Lange was admitted to the hospital.

(Daredevil II#16) – Timmy sat in his hospital room, repeating over and over again a story about a character called the Fury battling Daredevil while his crying mom and the nurse watched. A reporter, Ben Urich, came to interview him, but Timmy just kept repeating the story. Later, when Timmy’s nurse left him some crayons, he drew pictures of Daredevil’s battle with Leap-Frog.

(Daredevil II#17) – Speaking as “the Fury”, Timmy talked with Urich until he felt like a giant frog was watching him and he clammed up. Later, Ben visited Timmy while he was sleeping and saw his healing bruises. 

(Daredevil II#18) – Though Timmy didn’t know it, his mom was arrested for his bruises. Urich sat with Timmy and put the crayon drawings in order, talking to Timmy the whole time.

(Daredevil II#19) – Timmy was stunned when Daredevil came to his window and took Timmy for a trip through the city. Though Timmy didn’t speak, he was happy when Daredevil took off his mask so Timmy could see. He later visited Urich’s home and met his wife, Doris.
