Affiliations: Kingpin (Wilson Fisk), Lois

Known Relatives: None

Aliases: None

Base of Operations: The Kingpin's tower, Manhattan, New York

First Appearance: Daredevil I#228 (March, 1986)

Powers/Abilities: Felix was a skilled negotiator, an intelligent man, possessed a wide vocabulary, and was a trained observer. Although he was not ordinarily used for rough work, he carried a switchblade for his own defense.

History: (Daredevil I#228 (fb)) - Felix was assigned by the Kingpin to keep tabs on Matt Murdock, whose double identity as Daredevil had recently been discovered by the Kingpin. Felix observed as Murdock attacked his hotel manager, deliriously beliving he was an agent of the Kingpin. Following Murdock on the subway, Felix observed as Matt seemed to ignore a gang of young men robbing their fellow passengers, but when they threatened Murdock, he attacked and defeated all three, then beat up a policeman who came to investigate.

(Daredevil I#228) - Felix reported his observations to the Kingpin, who was pleased by what he heard, and said that he envied Felix for witnessing "the death of a noble man." The Kingpin was convinced that Murdock was on his way to a personal confrontation, but was not concerned.

(Daredevil I#230) - Felix was sent to Melvin Potter, formerly Gladiator. He instructed him to fashion a replica of Daredevil's costume for the Kingpin's use. Potter was against aiding Felix, but Felix threatened to have Potter assaulted and his costume shop destroyed.

(Daredevil I#231) - Felix delivered instructions from the Kingpin to Lois, an assassin garbed as a nurse who had recently killed Lt. Nick Manolis to keep him from testifying to reporter Ben Urich. Felix issued Lois' new orders, which were to lay low in Arizona. She was infuriated because she still wanted to deal with Urich personally, and refused to obey Felix's instructions.

Felix was given the custody of a mental patient who was to be garbed in the Daredevil replica costume and assassinate Franklin "Foggy" Nelson so that the Kingpin could increase the pressure on Matt Murdock. As soon as Felix handed him the billy club to complete his appearance as Daredevil and told him to go to apartment 5B, the lunatic went into a killing frenzy and beat Felix to death with the billy club, chanting "5B" the entire time. Ben Urich did a write-up on Felix's death, and noted that he was on parole at the time of his murder.

Comments: Created by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli.

Felix's manner of speech (ie, "handguns of the street variety," "the youths do then accost each passenger in turn") is reminiscent of author Damon Runyon's distinctive dialogue found in books such as Guys and Dolls.
