History:

(Daredevil II#84 (fb) - BTS) - A struggling father who worked as a guard at Ryker’s Island, CO McHenry was accosted by one of Hammerhead’s thugs, who nearly broke McHenry’s skull until McHenry agreed to reroute another prison, Matt Murdock, into Hammerhead’s clutches. He was told that Hammerhead only needed to talk to Murdock.

(Daredevil II#82) - McHenry nervously led Murdock away from his conversation with the Black Tarantula (Carlos LaMuerto) and down the hall, where Hammerhead and his goons waited. As Hammerhead taunted Daredevil, one of the inmates punched McHenry, knocking him out. When he woke up, there were guards and all of Hammerhead’s men were defeated.

(Daredevil II#84) - After a few days on medical leave, McHenry returned to work. On his first night there, he was approached in a darkened hallway by Murdock, who was out of his cell and who’d broken the light bulb. He held McHenry down until he got the truth about Hammerhead’s actions. After giving Murdock advice on Cell Block A, McHenry listened as Murdock told him to find a new job.
