History:

(Daredevil Annual I#4/5 (fb) - BTS) - Patrick Nidetz got involved in drugs and started working for Nick Lambert. When Nidetz's sister Amy got involved in drugs and got sick, Nidetz started to have a change of heart. He contacted reporter Ben Urich to give information on Lambert's drug trade.

(Daredevil Annual I#4/5) - Nidetz met Urich in Central Park to hand over more information, but Urich said he needed even more to put Lambert away for good. Nidetz went to visit Amy in the hospital just before her heart gave out and she died. Nidetz nervously waited in Times Square and passed on information to Urich when he arrived. The information included records and obituaries that would incriminate Lambert further, but Urich demanded more information if Lambert was to be truly and fully exposed. He took incriminating photos and went to deliver them to Urich, knowing the photos would expose Nidetz himself as well. The assassin Bushwacker opened fire on Nidetz, who pushed Urich out of the way and was hit. Nidetz was killed.
