Powers/Abilities: Pierce, composed of living soundwaves, could generate green powerful sonic blasts, often in a focused tornado-like whirl that could be powerful enough to make the target explode into sound. He seemed to also be able to levitate and generate a body-hugging force field, but was confined to a sound-dampening suit to maintain a solid form.

History:

(Ultraverse II Origins card #45) - Duane Corsi signed up to a secret Aladdin project to create sonic-sensitive wetware, but it instead transformed him into living soundwaves. He then had to rely on a special suit with sonic dampeners to maintain a physical form, although he could take on other forms. The suit also allowed him to "unravel" himself to shoot sound blasts.

(Wrath#7 (fb) - BTS) - Pierce was hired by Doc Virtual as one of three energy-blasting ultras to attack Wrath using his energy blasts. He was scheduled to begin his assault after Ogre's attack.

(Wrath#7) - Just minutes after Wrath knocked out Ogre, Pierce stepped in and blasted the Aladdin agent with a sonic boom. Knocking Wrath back, Pierce launched another barrage. Wrath's outfit  absorbed all the energy but he could not return Pierce's energy attack as Doc Virtual was secretly siphoning the power off him. Pierce then sent a sonic whirlwind that engulfed the hero. Although disoriented, Wrath was able to absorb the energy. Pierce quickly departed when Doc Virtual's third mercenary, Discus, announced his arrival.

While not confirmed, Pierce may well have been a covert Aladdin agent, although his solo status may be due to his dissatisfaction with Aladdin's treatment of him.
