History:

(Daredevil I#1) - At Fogwell's Gym, four of the Fixer's stooges, including Porky and Sam, were playing cards and waiting for the Fixer to hurry up. Sam encouraged Porky to hurry up, but Porky took his time, though Sam was reminding him how tough the Fixer could be. Just as they were breaking up the game, the costumed Daredevil entered. They teased him until he said he was there to rough up the Fixer. At Sam's encouragement, the bulky Porky moved to attack Daredevil, but Daredevil kicked Porky into the air, grabbed his feet, and spun him around into his friends. Sam reached for a gun, but Daredevil knocked it loose with his billy club just before he evaded another attack from Porky. All four men surrounded Daredevil, but he managed to knock them all down. Shocked at Daredevil's skills, the men held off while Daredevil waited around for the Fixer to arrive. Fixer and Slade returned to Fogwell's Gym, where they found costumed hero Daredevil. Fixer demanded Daredevil explain himself, and Daredevil claimed to know about Fixer's murder of Murdock. Daredevil managed to disarm Slade and another thug, impressing the Fixer with his skills. Slade stepped in to handle Daredevil, but Fixer ordered him to wait. Fixer then instructed Sam to call the police, but Daredevil knocked the phone out of Sam's hand. Fixer denied Murdock's murder and claimed he had an alibi. When Daredevil advanced on Fixer, Slade shoved Daredevil out the window while he confessed to the murder, but Daredevil shocked them all by jumping right back in. Daredevil ordered all but Slade and Fixer to leave and Porky and Sam gladly ran out.
