History:
(Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E.#5 (fb) - BTS) - The Highest Anti-Terrorism Effort (H.A.T.E.), a subsidiary of the Beyond Corporation (secretly a terrorist cell), devised various Bizarre Weapons of Mass Destruction and sought to test them. These weapons included blade-clad killer robots.
(Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E.#5) - In a continuing effort to wipe out Nextwave, Dirk Anger, Director of H.A.T.E., followed up his Drop Bear attack squad with Samuroid Batch 23, delivered via a large bomb-like casing dropped from his flying Aeromarine to where the Nextwave team were. The capsule then burst open amid a whirling flurry of blades that arranged themselves into approximately a dozen humanoid androids covered in blades of various sizes and modeled loosely on Japanese samurai armor. The Captain and Aaron Stack then left to stop the Aeromarine sending more bizarre weapons at them, leaving Elsa Bloodstone and Tabitha Smith (Meltdown) to tackle the robots.
(Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E.#6) - Armed only with a shovel, Elsa Bloodstone dramatically smashed away at the Samuroids while Tabitha Smith used her mutant power to generate time bombs against their foes. While their metal-bladed cladding was hard-wearing, the Samuroids' joints proved to be weak spots exploited by the two heroes until all the robots were destroyed.
