History:
(Gravity#2 (fb) - BTS) - Lauren Singh was born and raised in Greenwich Village, New York.
(Gravity#3 (fb) - BTS) - When she was 12 years old, Lauren began collecting discarded postcards addressed to other people. Her favorite postcard was sent from the Empire State Building and she came up with a romanticized story involving the addressed, Alec, and the addressee, Sarah.
(Gravity#2 (fb) - BTS) - Lauren decided that she would "keep" the bakery she discovered with her high school boyfriend following their messy break-up.
(Gravity#3 (fb) - BTS) - Lauren was mugged. The thief punched her and took her purse.
(Gravity#2 (fb) - BTS) - A year later, Lauren saw three super-human fights in the month before she met Greg Willis.
(Gravity#1) - Lauren recognized Greg from their English Intro course and, both being late, raced him to class.
(Gravity#2) - Lauren took Greg to the Village Bakery.
(Gravity#3 (fb) - BTS) - Greg told Lauren about his past, including growing up in Wisconsin and about his parent's marina.
(Gravity#2) - Their date was interrupted when the Rhino hijacked a nearby armored truck. Despite wanting to get out of the way, Lauren realized that Greg, new to New York, would want to see what would happen, and she waited in the bakery for him. After stopping the Rhino in his secret identity of Gravity, Greg re-met up with Lauren, who became concerned noticing a scrape on Greg's face that he attributed to a piece of flying brick. Despite her more cynical view of New York City-based superhuman battles and the problems that arose from them -- traffic jams, power outages, civilian casualties -- Lauren found Greg's enthusiasm over "that new guy" that saved the day, charming.
Lauren and Greg attended the next day's classes, although Greg was exhausted from patrolling the night before. Lauren asked him if he'd like to go to a midnight screening of "Showgirls" together, telling him that awful movies make good stress relievers. Greg declined, but promised to make it up to Lauren and, although crest-fallen, she said she understood.
(Gravity#3) - The next day, while discussing the book "Catcher in the Rye" with a withdrawn and bruised Greg in the campus library, Lauren told Greg about her mugging, believing the same had happened to him.
The next day, after attending class alone, Lauren went to Greg's dorm and dragged him out to the Brooklyn Bridge to watch boats sail down the East River. Watching the boats until the sun began to go down, Lauren brought Greg home, introducing him to her parents. Lauren showed Greg around her bedroom, telling him about her postcard collection. After sharing her favorite postcard, they moved closer to kiss, when a nearby fight between Spider-Man and the Jack O'Lantern drew Greg to the bedroom window. Although wanting to meet and fight alongside Spider-Man, Greg decided to stay with Lauren, and drew the blinds closed.
(Gravity#4 (fb) - BTS) - Lauren and Greg began dating over the next two weeks. One of their dates took them to Coney Island, where one of them won a stuffed bear.
(Gravity#4) - Lauren made plans to go to another midnight movie screening with Greg and some of her friends from high school. When Greg didn't show up, she left several phone messages for him before going to his dorm room and waiting for him. When he finally arrived, Lauren slapped him. Lauren later went to a party on campus and met another guy with whom she hit it off with quickly.
(Gravity#5) - Lauren walked her new beau back to his dorm room from the party just as Black Death began using Gravity's powers to destroy the NYU campus. They ran for cover, staying close enough to watch Gravity overpower and defeat Black Death. A few days later, Lauren ran into Greg in the Village Bakery while she was there with her new boyfriend. Excusing herself, Lauren told a despondent Greg not to give up. She smiled at Greg during their next class together.
(Beyond#1 (fb) - BTS) - Greg and Lauren started seeing each other again and Greg told Lauren about his secret identity.
(Beyond#1 (fb) - BTS) - Lauren moved into a dorm room on campus.
(Beyond#1) - Lauren and Greg spent the summer together at the NYU campus. While studying in the library, Lauren and Greg kissed. Deciding to take things to her dorm room, they continued to kiss en route and into the room, but were interrupted by a nearby supervillain rampage. Helping Greg into his costume, Lauren saw him off.
(Beyond#6) - Lauren attended Gravity's funeral alongside his Battleworld compatriots and his parents. Lauren threw a rose into the grave as the coffin was lowered and she hugged Greg's parents. The Hood and his girlfriend Sara offered her their condolences.
(Fantastic Four I#550 - BTS) - The Watcher erased knowledge of Gravity's secret identity from the world (see comments).
Comments: Created by Sean McKeever and Mike Norton
It's unclear if the Watcher erased Greg's dual identity from Lauren's memory, but even if he did, it's very likely Greg retold her the first chance he had.
