Powers/Abilities: Thunder was a professional wrestler whose strength and wrestling abilities seemed to be close to the Thing's level, along with similar height and build. He held a grudge for a long time.
History:
(Franklin Richards: Summer Smackdown!/1) - Thunder's brother, Lighting, fought and was captured by the Fantastic Four. Thunder was then inspired by the Thing's strength and wrestling reputation in the Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation (UCWF) to seek revenge. Years later, Thunder rose through the ranks of the UCWF to become its champion. Finding out that the Thing would be attending a charity match, he desperately sought to be included in the fight.
(Franklin Richards: Summer Smackdown!/1) - The Thing was invited as a celebrity wrestler to a charity match organized by the UCWF and the rocky hero took Franklin Richards and H.E.R.B.I.E. along to watch. The Thing entered the wrestling ring but was overconfident and surprised by Thunder's powerful attack and was unable to get a punch in. He was briefly knocked out by Thunder in the ring. Climbing to the top rope, Thunder launched himself into the air, intending to squash his opponent, but Franklin Richards then jumped in. Thunder landed smack on top of the boy, who had activated a portable force-field and strength generator he had taken from his father's lab. Franklin then lifted Thunder above his head, twirled him around, and threw him out of the ring. The crowd laughed at Thunder and mocked him. He ran away scared when Franklin challenged him further.

I'm guessing that his brother's name was actually Lightning (not Lighting) to go with the theme, but that's what it is says in the book.
It is not confirmed that the stories from Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius series actually take place in Earth-616 continuity.
