Powers/Abilities: The Red Skull had peak human strength, stamina, resistance, durability, reflexes, and agility.
History: (Marvel Vision#11 - Timeslip) - Believed to be Germany's champion during World War II, a German man was given a Super Soldier Formula that enhanced his physical abilities to peak human levels and transformed him into the Aryan dream: blond, strong, and confident. Like the U. S. A.'s Captain America, the man became a walking flag for Germany's Nazi Party. When Captain America parachuted into German territory, the German champion was there to confront him. During the course of the immense battle that followed, Captain America struck the champion in the face with his shield, a blow that would have killed a normal man. Instead of killing the champion, the shield permenantly scarred him, leaving a cut across his face that revealed a red-colored skull. His perfect appearance forever ruined, the champion took the codename of the Red Skull and swore vengeance against Captain America and the Invaders.

The Red Skull's reality diverged from Earth-616 when he was given a Super Soldier Formula, although one might argue that his reality was an alternate Earth because it was never actually told that the Red Skull in this reality was Johann Shmidt.
