History:
(Marvel Team-Up I#98 (fb) - BTS) - The Owl, in a mechanical wheelchair, united several of the city's gangs in order to pull of the biggest heist in the city's history. He began deploying arms to various criminals and required those who wanted in to buy in to the action. They planned to hit the Con Edison building on a preset night, knocking out the city's power and then raiding the city's riches. Criminals Trout and Cricket supervised much of the arms deliveries.
(Marvel Team-Up I#98) - During an arms delivery, Trout and Cricket were helping unload the truck when Black Widow, Spider-Man, and Simon Stroud attacked, taking down as many of the men as they could. Cricket, to cover his escape, tossed his lighter into a stack of explosives, but Stroud still leapt at him. Cricket shot Stroud with his wrist mounted pistol, then Cricket took Stroud hostage and drove away. Spider-Man managed to capture the unconscious Trout and hung him from a high bridge in order to get him to confess to the arms raise; Trout was then dropped off at the police station. Spider-Man soon tracked down the Owl and his men to Long Tom Stoneham's place by getting information from "Loose Lips" Lonigan.
