Powers/Abilities: This male vampire probably possessed all the standard powers of an Earth vampire, displaying superhuman strength, endurance and a pair of sharp fangs that were able to pierce the skin of a victim and drain blood. He was highly resistant to physical damage, including from a photon blaster, and virtually immortal. He was also susceptible to all forms of attack that could harm true vampires, such as holy water, garlic and wooden stakes.
History:(Chamber of Chills#2/2 - BTS) - In the year 2180, humankind had sent a colony ship into space to travel to Proxima Centauri, the nearest star to Earth. Aboard the Starship Wolf, a vampire stowed onboard by hiding among the 198 passengers in cryogenic sleep.
(Chamber of Chills#2/2) - The vampire roamed the ship, and first ambushed and killed crewman Charlie by biting his neck and draining him completely of blood. During the scuffle, Charlie managed to fire his photon blaster but to no effect. The vampire quickly made his escape as two other crewmembers, who had witnessed the incident, rushed to the aid of their fallen comrade. The crew alerted the Captain who in turn, with the help of the ship's doctor, began investigating but both were puzzled by the strange death. One by one, the vampire stalked the crew and slew them, although they had discovered that the only means to defeat him lay in a wooden cane that belonged to crewman Tockman. However, the vampire had killed him too and disposed of the walking stick out an airlock and into space. Eventually, the last remaining survivors were the Captain and the doctor who locked themselves away in the ship's library and started consulting ancient books. The vampire began smashing his way inside and at that very instant, the two survivors realized much too late that the creature was a vampire and that there was no way to defeat it in a ship made of plastic and steel. Standing in the doorway, the vampire smiled and applauded their deductive reasoning, telling them that in another time and place, they could have been friends and that thought pleased him so much that he will have a drink to that. He quickly killed them and drained them of their blood, leaving the vampire alone and in control of the spaceship and the remaining passengers in suspended animation.

CLARIFICATIONS
:
Vampire 2180 has no known connections to:
The Starship Wolf was a mile-long colony ship that held a crew complement of 32 plus 199 passengers in cryogenic sleep. The spaceship was made from terrestrial plastics and steel, and also held a massive databank of Earth history and texts. The ship also had a massive library of ancient books that had not been downloaded into the databanks. The passengers in cryogenic stasis were scheduled to awaken from their sleep as soon as the Starship Wolf reached Proxima Centauri. Since all the crewmembers onboard were killed, the ship may have been be able to continue flying on autopilot, but this was not revealed.
